Tessa Goddu began studying flute at the age of six, and has since received recognition in the Hartford Musical Club, Hartford Symphony Orchestra Young Artist, and Windham Regional Arts competitions, and been awarded UConn’s Jorgensen Outreach for Youth scholarship. She has performed as a soloist and chamber musician in the UK, France, Canada, and across the Eastern United States, and has spent summers studying at ARIA International Academy, Orford Musique, and, as a fellow, at the Kinhaven Young Artist Seminar and Wintergreen Music Festival’s LEAD Cooperative. Tessa has previously studied with Greig Shearer, Janet Arms, and Bart Feller, and is currently pursuing a B.M. at the University of Miami’s Frost School of Music under the tutelage of Jennifer Grim.
